First among equals is Mi5 co-founder Mr. TED MASON. Ted Mason is the former "Modern English" guitarist/producer/co-songwriter and manager of the band.He has been a producer/musician and manager for many acts organizing national tours through the U.S. and the UK for at least 20 years. He has worked as a musician/producer for such acts as Gary Langan (Art of Noise), Afrika Bambatta, the late Cal Tjader, Sheila E, Pete Escovedo, Betty Carter, Jesus and the Mary Chain, the Verve, UTFO, Donna Summer, Real Roxanne, Hugh Cornwell (Stranglers), Midge Ure (Ultravox), Jesus Jones, Muzz Skillings (Living Colour), Kid Creole and Coati Mundi, to name a few. In tour production, film and the management side he has worked with such acts Ringo Starr, Suzanne Vega, Sugar Ray, and Russell Simons and Multinational corporations such as Volvo and Mercedes. Additionally, Ted has had extensive formal training in classical and bebop jazz guitar styles, including studies at the elite San Francisco Conservatory. Ted heads up Mi5 Recordings handling management, production, promotion and booking and arranging tours for all Mi5 Recordings artists both here and in the UK. He negotiates and seeks out creative opportunities for recording, distribution and promotional events that will help solidify a creative career for Mi5 artists. In addition he works on creating opportunities of Corporate sponsorship and productions for Mi5 artists.

Milan has spent a good part of his life in music. Originally from Boston, Milan attended the prestigious Berklee University studying theory, drum technique and entertainment management. Tired of the structured environment, Milan left Berklee to pursue a life on the road playing with such artists as Peter Wolfe, Spin Doctors, Ian McNabb and members of the English band Space. Milanhandles regional and national promotions for Mi5 Recordings. He brings great experience in organizing Mi5's large mailing lists and he is quite successful in securing national audience participation on the grass roots level.

Born and raised in Manhattan, Michael began a destructive life of film at a young age armed with his father's Super-8 camera. He has made several films, both short and feature length, with his outfit, Mendelini and is an award-winning editor. He has worked with such notable characters as Tom Stoppard and Chris Rock. At Mi5, Michael is responsible for building and nururing an online community that supplements and complements Mi5's existing loyal support base in addition to exploring new and unique avenues for the label. Additionally, Michael has been a stand-up comedian, musician, actor, cartoonist and designer. And an astronaut.

Scott Kuchler is a partner and Director of A&R and Media Relations. In addition to signing new acts, Kuchler's responsibilities will include co-ordinating radio and publicity campaigns for the entire Mi5 roster. Kuchler is no stranger to Mi5 - in 2000 he negotiated a P&D deal for the label with KOCH Entertainment for new releases from Midge Ure, Jesus Jones, The Blue Mockingbirds and Mercyside. Prior to joining Mi5 - Kuchler served as Label Manager for the KOCH Progressive label, working with artists as diverse as Carole King, Ringo Starr, Bill Wyman, Dave Davies, Bob Geldof, John Entwistle and Gregory Corso. His most recent project - the George Harrison tribute album "Songs From The Material World", will be released on KOCH Records at the end of February and features Todd Rundgren, They Might Be Giants, Big Head Todd and the Monsters and Jay Bennet and Edward Burch among others.
